Renegades to Asia Minor playoffs over B.O.O.T

Renegades have booked their spot in the Asia Minor playoffs following a 2-0 victory against BOOT-d[S] (16-5 on Dust2 and 16-6 on Cache).

Renegades and BOOT-d[S] squared off in the Group A decider match for a spot in the Asia Minor playoffs. Dust2 was the first map in the best of three series with the Australian team starting on the T-side.

Karlo "⁠USTILO⁠" Pivac & Aaron "⁠AZR⁠" Ward clutched a 2vs4 in the pistol round and Renegades made it 3-0 after winning two anti-eco rounds. Joakim "⁠jkaem⁠" Myrbostad's team were victorious in the first weapon round and their streak continued until the 12th round.

Renegades have made it to the playoffs at the Asia Minor

When Renegades were leading 11-0, Kumaresan "⁠Tommy⁠" Ramani got a triple kill to stop the Ts for the first time in the game. However, Renegades had no intention of slowing down as they finished the half with a 13-2 lead.

Even though BOOT-d[S] took the first three rounds in the second half, the possibility of a comeback was shut down when Renegades picked up the first weapon round. Justin "⁠jks⁠" Savage & company went on to win the map 16-5.

Benkai's team have been eliminated

Renegades started Cache on the CT-side and won the pistol round with a 5vs5 retake. BOOT-d[S]' early buy in the third round worked and the Singaporean team got on the board but Renegades didn’t let them start a streak and reset their economy (3-1).

A triple kill by jkaem in a 2vs3 made it 7-1 and the Australian side had a 13-2 lead at halftime. Renegades managed to win the second half pistol round and later closed out the map with a 16-6 scoreline, winning the series 2-0 and advancing to the playoffs at the Asia Minor.
