NoChance, BIG qualify for Europe Minor

NoChance and BIG are through to the Europe Minor after taking down HEROIC and Virtus.pro, respectively.
The final day of the qualifier began with a big upset as No.25 in the world HEROIC, who had qualified for the ESL Pro League Season 9 Finals at Na`Vi's expense, were defeated by NoChance (No.61) in a three-map series.
Martin "stavn" Lund raised eyebrows on Vertigo with a 1.73 rating, propelling HEROIC to take the lead in the series. The Danish youngster, formerly of Fragsters, was a nuisance for NoChance in the entire match, but his valiant performance was not enough to see his team into the top eight places as the European mixture pulled off the reverse sweep with great displays by Jesse "zehN" Linjala and Martin "STYKO" Styk on the last two maps.

The qualification comes as an invaluable boost for NoChance, who will attend only their second LAN event since the team's creation, after the Good Game League 2019 Qualifier 1 Warsaw qualifier, when Žygimantas "nukkye" Chmieliauskas was still on the team. The Lithuanian player has since signed for HellRaisers, with Thomas "Thomas" Utting replacing him in the line-up.
Meanwhile, BIG and Virtus.pro played out a one-sided match in which the Germans were in control almost from the get-go. After losing the first five rounds of Train, Fatih "gob b" Dayik's side kicked into a higher gear, eventually taking the map at 16-11.
On Inferno, Virtus.pro showed incredible fighting spirit as they fought back after being 1-9 down, but their efforts were in vain as BIG would once again lock down the map in the 27th round, with the team's newest recruit, Denis "denis" Howell, finishing at the top of the scoreboard (1.41 rating).
There are now just two spots up for grabs at the Europe Minor, which will be held from July 17-21 in Berlin. Later on Wednesday, Sprout will take on OpTic, and Tricked will face Ancient for the final qualifying matches for the $50,000 competition.
The team list for the Europe Minor currently looks as follows:
